Gaul Melon
Cucumis meló, popularly known as Melon, is a Minoan herbaceous plant, of the Curcubitaceae family, with creeping stems in its original form, although nowadays it is also adapted as a climber.
The best known shapes of its fruit are spherical, like our Galia variety.
The microclimate of this area of Sanlúcar de Barrameda at planting time is around 15º C, an ideal temperature for germination and for the plant to grow in its active and healthy way.
